Curriculum & Instruction

Welcome to the Curriculum & Instruction Department for the Auburn Enlarged City School District. The Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment team in the district works to support teachers and school leaders in the equitable education of ALL children in the district.

This office is responsible for the following PreK-12 programs:

Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment for all grade levels and departments
Professional Development for all faculty, staff and administration
Universal Prekindergarten
Instructional Technology, including the Learning Technology Grant

English as a New Language
Teacher and Principal Evaluations

P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College in High School)

School Improvement - Accountability Metrics and Reporting

This work is supported throughout the district by the Curriculum Council whose membership includes administrators and teacher leaders from each grade level and department. Teacher leaders in the areas of PBIS, Special Education, ENL, Instructional Technology, Pathways, and School Improvement further support the mission of the Curriculum and Instruction Department.
