PUBLIC MEETING OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION BEGINS AT 6:15 P.M.
THE BOARD OF EDUCATION WILL CONSIDER TO ENTER INTO AN EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE DISCUSSION OF NEGOTIATIONS THAT MAY LEAD TO LITIGATION.

PLEASE NOTE: THE BOARD HAS SET A LIMIT OF THREE HOURS FOR ITS MEETINGS AND THIS PARAMETER CAN BE WAIVED BY MAJORITY VOTE. IN AN ATTEMPT TO SET A PACE WHERE ALL ITEMS CAN BE FAIRLY CONSIDERED, GUIDELINES APPEAR IN BRACKETS FOR PORTIONS OF THE AGENDA. THESE PERIODS OF TIME ARE FLEXIBLE, BUT WILL SERVE AS REMINDERS TO EXPEDITE THE GATHERING OF INPUT FOR MAKING DECISIONS.

Auburn School District launches BoardDocs

Auburn Enlarged City School District is leveraging cloud-based technology to radically improve its governance processes while saving staff time and taxpayer dollars through the use of school board management software called BoardDocs. The remarkably powerful, easy-to-use service will allow the district to maximize the effectiveness of board meetings with increased transparency, providing a basis for better and more open communication with the public.

Electronic distribution will not only save time and resources, but it will also provide unprecedented public access via the Auburn Enlarged City School District website to agenda items and information. This process will allow interested parties to review information prior to board meetings. All documents associated with the meeting are automatically archived and can be accessed by date or by using the system’s comprehensive search feature. Upcoming board meeting agendas will be released to the public one day prior to the Board meeting.
