Animal Development Objectives

-Describe the process of cleavage
-Define and label blastula and gastrula embryonic stages
-Describe gastrulation and differentiation
-Name and label the 3 embryonic tissue layers and name structures that develop from each
-For external development, name organisms that perform it, including adaptations of shells
-Compare and contrast animal development on land and in water, giving examples
-Label parts of a chicken egg ( chorion, allantois, amnion, yolk sac, albumin, shell, embryo) and describe their functions
-Describe internal development on land for reptiles, mammals(marsupials and placentals)
