Plant Reproduction Objectives

-Define vegetative propagation
-Match types of asexual reproduction with plants (cuttings/houseplants; bulbs/tulips, tubers/potatoes; runners/strawberries; rhizomes/ferns; grafts/apple trees)
-Label the structures of a flower and describe their functions, including- petals, sepals, stamens, pistil
-Identify the parts of a pistil, describe functions
-Identify parts of stamens, describe functions
-Define pollination and germination
-Name 2 pollinators, describing which flowers they pollinate
-Describe adaptations of pollen and the flower for reproduction on land
-Describe location of fertilization and development of the embryo
-Label and describe functions of parts of a seed
-Define fruit and describe function
-Name 2 methods of seed dispersal
-Name 3 conditions for seed germination
-Define meristem and hormones
-When given stages of life of a flowering plant, put in correct order( seed germination, growth, young plant, flower formation, pollination, fertilization, fruit and seed formation, seed dispersal)
