-Describe Mendel’s hereditary factors
-Describe the law of dominance
-Compare purebred with hybrid, P generation and F1 generation
-Compare dominant and recessive genes
-Define DNA, and compare the 2 forms- chromatin and chromosomes
-Define gene, include location, and function
-List 3 kinds of proteins
-Define allele and give example of symbols of alleles
-Compare phenotype and genotype and give examples of each
-Compare homozygous with heterozygous, giving examples
-Define the F2 generation
-Explain Mendel’s Law of Segregation and Recombination
-Know how to use and interpret results of a Punnett square
-Explain the function of a test cross
-Explain the inheritance pattern of codominance and give an example
-Define a multiple allele system and give an example
-Be able to solve blood typing problems
