Orchestra
Welcome orchestra students and parents!
The Auburn Orchestra Program is a very active and growing program with the goal of reaching the highest levels of academic excellence through the artistic medium of music. We provide a variety of ensembles for student performance including orchestras at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels, and there are Chamber Ensembles, String Quartet, Fiddle Group, and solo opportunities for string students as well.
Our students have been very successful, performing at many competitions and festivals each year, as well as being selected for OCMEA All-County Orchestras, NYSSMA Area All-State Orchestras, and NYSSMA Conference All-State Orchestras.
Auburn students have the opportunity to begin instruction in the Orchestra Program beginning in Grade 4. Students who would like to start in a later grade should contact their orchestra teacher as soon as possible. Each student receives a weekly lesson in addition to their orchestra rehearsal class.

Conference All-State:
Congrats to Kaela Sova on being selected and participating in the NYSSMA Conference All-State Festival for orchestra, held this past December in Rochester NY. Students selected must qualify by state-wide audition and be designated as a candidate by the audition committee.
Area All-State:
Congratulations to Talora Barbuti, Kara Sova, Kaela Sova, Nathaniel Swab, Allegra Barbuti, and Molly Behme for being selected and completing successful participation in the Zone 4 Senior High Area All-State strings festival at Whitesboro HS this past November.
Congratulations to Keira Ward, Vincent Wu, Adalyn Myers, Kaida Davis-Shannon, and Lian Prent for being selected for the Zone 4 Junior High Area All-State strings festival, upcoming Jan 31 - Feb 1, hosted by Verona Central Schools.
