Vanguard

Congratulations to the Auburn Maroon Vanguard on their succssful 2022 Field Band Season.  

While our field season may be over, we will be offering various winter programs to keep learning and practicing marching, music and colorguard techniques.

We have just begun our 2023 Indoor Percussion competitive season. This ensemble will be competing in the New York State Percussion Circuit for the first time. Indoor percussion rehearsals are as follows (all rehearsals are from 6-9 pm unless otherwise noted: 12/8; 12/13;12/15;12/20;12/22;1/5; 1/9; 1/11; 1/18; 1/19; 1/23; 1/25; 1/30; 2/2; 2/6; 2/8; 2/11 (12 - 4 pm); 2/13; 2/16; 2/18 (12-4); 2/21 (12-4); 2/23 (12-4); 2/27; 3/2; 3/4 (12-4 pm); 3/6; 3/9; 3/11 (12-4); 3/13; 3/16;3/18 (12-4 pm); 3/20; 3/23; 3/25 912-4 pm); 3/27; 4/1 (12-4 pm).  There will be a preview performance of our show on 3/30 @ 7 pm at AHS.  

Competitions for 2023 Indoor percussion: Feb 4 @ Eastridge; Feb 25 @ Jordan-Elbridge; Championship Competition is Sunday April 2 @ Gates HS.  
    

Indoor Winds will begin December 13th at 6 pm in the AHS Band Room for students in grades 7-12 interested in learning and developing music and marching techniques. New members are always welcome!

Spin Club will begin December 21st at 6 pm in the AHS Music Wing for students in grades 7-12 interested in learning and developing colorguard techniques. New members are always welcome!
